About Our Firm

Mullen and Co was formed by Tom Mullen in 2008, after he left a well known local commercial firm.He has appeared in Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland for over twenty years, as well as numerous tribunals. He was joined at the firm by his wife Hayley in 2018. She has extensive court experience as a procurator-fiscal depute, defence agent and since 2008 has specialised in family work. She was formerly head of the Civl Legal Assistance office in Aberdeen.

Our Team

Tom Mullen

Tom Mullen founded Mullen and Co in 2008, having previously been a partner at a well known Aberdeen commercial firm where he headed up the family law team and carried out complex civil litigation. He has lived and worked in the Aberdeen area for over 20 years.

Hayley Mullen

Hayley was a former procurator fiscal depute and then a defence agent before specialising in family law 12 years ago. She has extensive experience in cases involving children, and is a regular Court Reporter in family cases in the Sheriff Court.
